OccupyDC Blocks Street, Dozens Arrested December 7, 2011 (Washington, DC) Officers of the DC Metropolitan Police arrest a man after he laid down and blocked a busy downtown street with other OccupyDC protesters. The arrests came after the OccupyDC group and protesters from "Our DC", a group backed by a powerful union, failed to come together in solidarity, each occupying separate ends of a block on K street.
