August 10, 2011 (Washington, DC)  DC Mayor Vincent Gray held a press conference outlining the District of Columbia's involvement in the upcoming dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial in Washington.  The memorial will commemorate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  More than 200,000 people are expected to attend week-long events leading up to the dedication on August 28, 2011, including many who attended Dr. King's "I have a Dream" Speech.
