Hope for Darfur Rally In Washington, DC

Washington, DC (May 15, 2011) The Darfur Interfaith Network and the Save Darfur Coalition held the second annual Hope For Darfur - Justice in Sudan Rally and March to help the spotlight remain on the violence in Darfur and Sudan. The march began at the Metropolitan AME church followed by a rally in front of the White House. The Darfur Interfaith Network (DIN) and GI-NET/Save Darfur want to raise awareness of what they consider unjust policies of the Government of Sudan, and the unsafe living conditions of Darfuris and for those who continue to suffer in southern Sudan.
