Libyan War Protests in front of White House July 9, 2011 (Washington, DC) Protestors for and against NATO bombing in Libya clash in front of the White House. Opponents consider U.S. military action in Libya unjustified and illegal. Those in favor military action believe the bombing is necessary to oust Gaddafi. As the intensity of the rally increased, police moved barricades between the two groups to keep them separated.
